Marjorie "Midge" E. Fish

She was born June 19, 1927 in Earlville to Edward and Inez (Schrecengost) Fitzgerald. On June 21, 1947 she married Bert C. Fish in Dixon.

Midge retired from the McHenry County Government Center Circuit Clerk’s office after many years of service. She was previously very active in the breeding and showing of dogs and the Wheaton Kennel Club. She was an elder at Marengo Presbyterian Church and a current member of Ridgefield Presbyterian Church. She was an avid Bears fan. She was also a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Linda) Fish, Richard (Patricia) Fish, Robert (Corinne) Fish, and Geri (William) Leonard; her grandchildren, Andrew (Sunny), Christopher (Paula), Elizabeth, Robert (Cassie), William, Michael, Brittany (Brandon), Benjamin, William Jr., Joseph (Julie), Megan, and Michelle; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert in 1974; her parents; and her brother, James Fitzgerald.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Thursday, August 9, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo. Visitation will continue from 10am to the 11am funeral service on Friday, August 10, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.
