CHRIS, I saw you laid to rest but I still can't beleive that you are gone.  RIP with your mom eventhough knowing you, you won't be. You will probably riding anything with a motor.  You definitely lived life the way you wanted to. I know you are watching over me and your other loved ones. You are and will be missed. I Love you and See you on the other side.

975/36 I sit here, even though I have seen you lay to rest, and still can't believe its true.  Since July of 2007 you have shown and taught me a lot about towing and recovery. I am so sorry to see you go so young but we all know your in a better place now.  We have a new Angel looking over us to help guide us in our journey where life takes us.  We hear you Chris..we are putting all the safety chains on sir...  You are and forever will be missed. As it was never my pleasure to meet you, until yesterday, I have heard many great things about you.  I would sit in dispatch with Chris on Saturdays.  I am so sorry for your loss.  My sincere and deepest condolences to you, your daughter, and the rest of your family.

Holly, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I didn't know Chris very well. I worked with him @ Westway & had some interaction w/ him. I also met him a couple of times. He was very kind & helpful to me during my training days. He was a great guy from what little I knew of him. My heart & prayers go out to you & your family. I know how you feel. I lost the closest thing to the love of my life (til I met my husband) to a car accident. Tom & I are here for you of you ever need anything. Just find me on Facebook. I know things are hard but, I promise you things will get better. Just try to remember all that was good & pure b/t the two of you. A poet once wrote this... "Though lovers be lost love shall not and death shall have no dominion." keep that in your heart that 1 day you will be together again. I pray for you & keep you in my heart.

“Where did the time go?”
Two, five, ten years seems a long time to know someone or a long time to work with them.....until they are gone. Then one asks themselves, "Where did the time go?" 
You feel like you knew them forever, then you suddenly feel you had so much you could have learned but, "Where did the time go?"
There may have been talk of getting together and/or planning an event, but due to each living their own life it never came to pass. Then you again ask yourself, “Where did the time go?”
The answer is simple, though sometimes hard to accept. Time marched on and became the past, it transformed from the moments we were in to the memories we will always have.  Time past is not meant to be dwelled in and regretted for what was not. It is meant to be looked back upon to bring smiles and laughter for what was.

I think Chris in his own way understood this and lived for it. If it struck his fancy to do something, go somewhere, get something….he did it. He was a unique mixture of ‘responsible’ and ‘free spirit’ wrapped into a laid back ‘take it and deal with it as it comes’ type of personality. Yes, he sometimes lost his temper but it did not last long, at least not from what I knew of him. He will be sorely missed by both of his families…relation and Westway. May God keep him until we can all see him again.

Chris from the short time I knew you, you definitely made an impression! You will be missed and I know you are smiling down on your loved ones today!!

Although we just recently met, and I am not as fortunate as some (I have read on here), to know you the way all these loving people did, I thought you were a pretty interesting man. Chris, Of the many young men who have come in & out of our family over the years, you made your mark as a good friend. We have been honored to know you. I still cannot process this.
