The McArdle Family were natives of Cypress Avenue in the South Bronx, which became the backdrop for George’s early life story. He was raised there alongside his three beloved brothers Joe (Pat), Jack (Joan), and Tom (Pat/Ellen) and his three cherished sisters, Marie (Jim) Slevin, Eileen (Joe) Corcoran and Kathleen (Mickey) Powers). It was there in the south Bronx where George met his wife and life-partner, Terry.

George and Terry McArdle became active members of their Florida communities. They moved to Coconut Creek after living 35 years in Miami. George never allowed distance to separate him though from his large extended family, which included his many nieces and nephews, and their spouses, all of whom are heartbroken by his death. Everyone knew and loved Uncle George. George and Terry travelled extensively both nationally and internationally. Their most memorable vacations, however, were enjoyed with their family during a European Tour, Trips to Ireland, and Cruises. The McArdle Clan also had several raucous vacations together in Acapulco which became family folklore. George was always ready to enjoy an adventure. He had a strong heart for his Irish Heritage.
George later moved to Oriole Gardens-3 after the death of his beloved Terry. There, he enjoyed his final years alongside a large contingent of friends and family. He loved to dance and play slot machines. George McArdle was a husband, brother, uncle & friend. He loved God, Family and Country with all his heart. He will be missed but leaves a legacy that will be in our hearts forever.
