Kathleen Lindsay died peacefully at home, surrounded by a loving family on July 3rd in Margate, FL at the age of 60. Kathleen is survived by her mother Olga Lindsay of Lehigh Acres; brother Dave Lindsay of Lehigh Acres; sons, Levon Washington III and Joshua Washington of Margate; grandchildren Levon Washington IV, Jahsean Washington and Journee Washington. She is preceded in death by her father John Lindsay of Margate and brother Larry Lindsay of Ocala. Kathleen was born on April 11, 1961 in Pennsylvania to John and Olga Lindsay. She graduated from Coconut Creek High School in 1979. Her children remember her as a strong woman, who made everything happen for her boys. She encouraged them to pursue their goals, and to be there for their families. Kathleen’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The memory of her kind spirit will live on through them.She will be missed but not forgotten.
A home-going celebration is scheduled for 4pm on Friday July 16th at 12441 Royal Palm Blvd, Coral Springs, FL 33065. Barbara Stokes will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kathleen’s life.
