

Lawrence “Duke” Flebotte, 87, of Coconut Creek, Florida passed away, Sunday April 2, 2017 at his home.
Lawrence was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Lawrence and Marion (Fortune) Flebotte. Lawrence was co-owner of Flebotte’s Fine Food supermarket in
Springfield, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard for seventeen years and was deployed to Phalsbourg, France as a
Master Sergeant in the Air Force in 1961 during the Berlin Crisis. He was a member of American Legion Post 170.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dolores (Benoit) his daughter Laurel Flebotte and her husband Joshua Feingold, his daughter Leslie and her
husband Patrick McCoy, three grandchildren, Brendan, Caitlin, and Maura, his brothers David Flebotte and Francis Flebotte, and his sister Barbara Flebotte,
as well as many nieces, a nephew, and grandnieces and nephew. Lawrence was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, 6350 N.W. 18th Street, Margate, FL 33063. A brief service will
be conducted the following Monday at 10:45AM, April 10, 2017 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent Church Food Bank.
