

DeLuca, Patricia Ann, 73, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and formerly Dolgeville, N.Y., passed away on February 19, 2013. Patricia was born December 15, 1939 in Dolgeville, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Alice (Adsit) DeLuca, she attended Dolgeville Central School, worked in her parent’s restaurant businesses, and subsequently completed her studies to become a Licensed Practical Nurse in the early 1970s.
Patricia was employed at Little Falls Hospital for a number of years before relocating to Florida. In Fort Lauderdale she continued her employment as a nurse for many more years. Most recently she was employed by Deception Control in Fort Lauderdale.
She is survived by her children; Lisa (David) Kasprzyk, and Joseph (Sheryl) Lewis, her grandchildren Adam Franklin and Kasey Lewis, all of Florida and her great-granddaughter, Jordan Franklin. Other survivors include her brothers Joseph R. DeLuca Jr. of Dolgeville, Peter M. (Nancy) DeLuca, and Gregg A. (Susanne) DeLuca of Little Falls, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her special cousin and best friend Priscilla Ruppert of Dolgeville. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Leslie, her parents, and her sister Pamela Doubleday.
Inurnment will be at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY later in the spring.
Memorial donations in Patricia’s name will be accepted at the Herkimer County Humane Society, 514 New York 5S Mohawk, NY 13407.
