Anne Florence Sturdivant

Anne was born on September 24, 1938 to William and Martha Florence.

Anne was such a people person, she loved everyone. She was a founding member of Westside Worship Center in Winston, Georgia and a past member of Lost Mountain Baptist, where she taught Sunday school, and was an active supporter of churches and sang in the choir. Anne also loved her job with the postal service, which she was with for over 30 years.

Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sturdivant; her parents, William Sherwood Florence, Sr. and Martha Florence; her sons, Dale and Jesse Bailey; and her brother, William Sherwood Florence, Jr.

Anne is lovingly survived by her two sons, Chris (Donna) Bailey and Scott (Missy) Bailey, and daughter-in-law Lisa Bailey. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Savannah Bailey, Chris (Jenni) Bailey, Andrew (Veronika) Bailey and Kaitlyn (Aaron) Wilson, as well as four great grandchildren and her nieces.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Anne will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Immediately following the service, Anne will be laid to rest at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
