Annie Ruth Hunnicutt, age 89, of Smyrna, passed away Monday, June 22. A funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday, June 24 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with the Rev. Ray Boatright officiating. Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Hunnicutt was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Hunnicutt. She is survived by her daughter Laura (Ray) Boatright of Marietta, son William Aaron (Denise) Hunnicutt of Dallas, grandchildren Eric (Sharla) Boatright, Megan (Chris) Bohannon, Preston Hunnicutt, great grandchildren Zach and Halle Boatright. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Tuesday, June 23 at the funeral home.
