The Myth.
The Legend age 89, passed away on February 27, 2026. Cecil was born in Marietta, GA to Guy Dickerson and Annie Dickerson. Cecil married Linda Dickerson in June of 1957.
He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Dickerson and daughter Kathy Wanamaker. Cecil is survived by 5 children; Suzanne Keegan (Patrick), David Dickerson (Jenny), Virginia Dickerson, Lynn Schulte (Tim), Scott Dickerson (Jessica) and 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, 3rd of March, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory. Services for Cecil Dickerson will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will immediately follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
