Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Neal Beard officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Newton was a homemaker and lived in Mableton for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years James T. Newton.
Survivors Include: Daughter- Lynn Newton (Billy) of Douglasville
Sons- Jimmy Newton (Wanda) of Powder Springs, Frank Newton of Powder Springs, Danny Newton (Judy) of Dallas and Billy Mac Newton (Kathy) of Austell
Brothers- James Payne of Carnesville and Cecil Payne of Mineral Bluff
Sisters- Helen Leard of Dalton and Daisy Barfield of Mableton,
9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
