Joseph Lamar Nichols, 57, of Kennesaw, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2013 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Reverend Hoyt Winkler officiating.
Mr. Nichols was born in Buford, Georgia and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Amy Nichols; mother Gertrude Nichols; Brothers- Tony Nichols (Floy) , Bobby Nichols (Vickie), Dwayne Nichols (Susie), Tim Nichols (Ramona);sisters- Darlene Nichols Puckett (Hoyt), Sonja Nichols; Brother-in-law Chuck Blair (Kathleen); father-in-law and wife Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blair; several nieces and nephews, and beloved pets “Roscoe” and “Haley”.
The family will greet friends on Monday, September 30, 2013 one hour before the service.
