Julia Eggars Miller

Julia (Judy) E. Miller, age 74, passed into eternity on March 4, 2023, into the arms of Jesus. She was born on September 19, 1948 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to her late parents, John and Evelyn Eggers. Judy is survived by her loving husband, William (Bill) T. Miller, Jr., whom she married on September 12, 1970.

When Judy was 10 years old, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her family, graduating from Joseph E. Brown High School in 1966. She met the love of her life, Bill, when she was 22 and married him shortly thereafter. Judy and Bill built a life together and enjoyed traveling to the Georgia and Tennessee mountains, where they would go apple picking. While at home, Judy spent her free time on her computer and was a hobbyist photographer. Together, she and Bill built strong relationships with their church families at Macland Baptist Church, and most recently, Pickett's Mill Baptist Church. Judy's faith was very important to her and she put a smile on every person she met along the way.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Julia E. Miller will be held at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, GA on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Richard Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 12:00 PM.
