Lynnette Faith Rau

Lynne was born in and raised in Ohio and moved to Marietta, Georgia in 1980 where she met and married her husband of 43 years, Keith Rau, and raised their daughter, Melissa (Rau) Bailey. Lynne was a faithful wife, mother, sister, and grammy. She was a devoted prayer warrior who freely prayed for anyone in need. She had a direct line to God and people trusted her to carry their burdens.

Lynne loved her family. Nothing brought her more joy than being together, especially with her beloved grandsons who she showered with love.

Lynne is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Pollock; her mother, Judy Pollock and her brother, Curt Pollock. She leaves behind her husband, Keith Rau; her daughter Melissa (Aaron) Bailey and their sons, Brandt and Palmer. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Pollock; and her brother, Eric Pollock.

She loved to encourage people, study the Bible and work in her husband’s chiropractic office where patients were treated like family and loved dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home. 180 Church Street NE, Marietta, GA 30060. The family invites everyone to a visitation preceding the service at 1:00 pm. A private burial will be held.
