Marguerite (Rita) passed away on October 31 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester (L.R.) and Nellie King of Smyrna; her devoted husband of 34 years, Ralph M. Groover, Sr.; her loving husband of 23 years, Velton V. Fowler, Sr.; and her only sister and best friend, Evelyn F. Jenkins. She is survived by her four children, Ralph (Butch) and Shelia Groover; Raymond and Pam Groover; James (Ronnie) and Sue Groover; and Jackson Marie Dodsworth; 8 grandchildren-Robby, Ralph III and Michael Groover; Missie Martin, Dana Groover, Dawn Johnson, Tara Bellows, and Alison Dodsworth; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 4, 11:30 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A private graveside service will follow the memorial service at Kennesaw Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
