Mary Black Dover, 89, of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Regency Park Healthcare. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on January 19, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Sanford, and son, David. She is survived by her son, Doug, a sister, and a nephew. Mary worked in retail at both Macy’s and Nieman Marcus in Atlanta. She enjoyed reading and doing needlepoint. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Dalton.
Burial will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta, GA
Funeral services for Mary Dover will be on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
