Virginia Victoria Cox

Virginia “Victoria” Cox, age 94 of Marietta, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2023. The family will greet friends at the funeral home for viewing on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta. Celebration of Life will be 12:30 PM followed by burial at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Casual attire is requested.

Ms. Cox was born in Bronx, New York to Raymond Hellman of Sweden and Sophie Zawadski of Poland. She worked for Kennestone Hospital in Medicare Billing. Ms. Cox loved to play Bingo, Rummikub, and Scrabble. She loved walking and enjoyed life to the fullest. She always said “ I’m going to miss this place!”

Ms. Cox is survived by her son Ray Hunter Shortridge, daughter Lisa L. Reinhold, and grandchildren Cody Shortridge and Charles Ray Reinhold.
