William 'Bill' Thomas Taylor, III, age 73, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born August 22, 1938 in Danville, VA son of the late William Thomas Taylor, II and Ada Inman Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Douglasville, GA.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Darlene Taylor of Douglasville, GA; children, Kristen Gumm and husband Leonard of Farmville, VA, Julienne Taylor of Lusby, MD, Timothy Taylor and wife Emma of Hong Kong, Tracy Leggett and husband Brian of Douglasville, GA; 13 grandchildren, Lila, Casey (Cara), Samuel, Niklaus, and Karly Gumm, Olivia, Isabela, and Georgia Schuh, Daniel, and Jessica Taylor, Briana, Triston, and McKenna Leggett; 3 great-granddaughters, Lark, Mya, and Keana Gumm; brother, Stuart Taylor and wife Linda of CA; brother-in-laws, Jerry Jeschke and wife Helen, James Jeschke and wife Stephanie, Fred Jacobsen and wife Bonnie; aunt, Pauline Hicks; 2 nephews and several cousins..

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 6-8 PM. The memorial service will be Monday, August 6, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Grace Presbyterian Church, Douglasville, GA with Rev. Clif Daniell officiating. Family will have a Private Interment.
