Arthur was born to Arthur George Willard, Sr. and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cobbler Willard, both of whom preceded him in death.
Arthur was a life-long farmer, raising tobacco and food. He attended County Line Christian Church in Axton, VA, and was from the Mountain Valley community.
He was preceded in death by brothers; Tommy Willard, Arthur Lee Willard and Kenneth Wayne Willard, and sister, Frances Willard Cassell.
Arthur is survived by brothers; James Willard, Charlie Willard, Calvin Willard, Roy Willard, and Ed Willard, sisters; Shirley Willard Parker and Mary Willard Jones, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with a visitation an hour prior from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad Street, Martinsville, VA, with Rev. Bill Preskitt to be officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
