Ronnie and I would like to offer our deepest sympathy and love to the family of Warren and Betty Robertson.  We are so sorry to hear the passing of Betty and know you all miss her so much.  We bought their beautiful Monaco Dynasty motorhome in November 2012.  We continue to own their motorhome and are still traveling in it.  We like to think we carry Warren and Betty's memory and love of traveling with us.  Ronnie and I will never forget them and how they both made us feel like we were a part of their family.

I am saddened to learn the passing of Betty Jo.  She was my second cousin. She and my dad Billy Joyce, were 1st cousins and grew up near each other on a farm.  They often thought of each other as the brother and sister that they never had.  

I will forever be grateful for the kindness that she and Warren extended during my father's illness before he passed in 2010.  They often drove over an hour each way to come visit dad in the hospital. I know it wasn't always convenient nor easy but that's just the kind of people that they both were. They put others first.  Warren was about the most humble person I think I've ever met . Betty Jo was so much like her mother (Aunt Gin to us). Gin was an awesome cook and never went anywhere without taking along a cake, strawberry preserves or a jar of pickles to give away to somebody. I know Betty Joe did likewise. 

Every so often I would call Betty Jo and check on her or she would call me . She had a great sense of humor and always had a funny story to tell me . We talked about all kinds of things including the old days  She loved to reminisce about her growing up on the farm and the wonderful heritage she was so grateful for!  I will miss talking to her and listening to that wonderful southern Virginia accent she had.

I'm so thankful for her and how she impacted my life and the life of so many others.  I think its appropriate to say, "they just don't make them like that anymore..."

Betty Jo and my mother Ethel Harris were best friends.  The crafts they made to the food they prepared, they were one of a kind.  I grew up with the boys and thought of them as brothers.  I'm sure she and Warren are dancing all over heaven.  

I have been knowing Betty for a long time,  I used to be with them at the dances before her husband died. Then later at the hospital as a volunteer. Betty was a kind, sweet and dedicated person.  She was great to work with and just to enjoy, she was so full of life. We will all miss her!!  My sympathy to all the family, she loved you dearly.

The lives of all who knew Betty and Warren were enriched by their kindness and humor. We will remember them with love.

So sorry for your loss. Betty Jo was such a friendly, caring, funny, and loving person. We usually sat near each other in church and would pick on each other. She was great for handing out mints to my grandchildren. God bless her, your father and each of you.

I’m so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing but I’m happy to know she’s been reunited with Warren. The last time I saw her was at Third Bay. She was her usual jovial self which is how I’ll always remember her.

Guys, I'm  so sorry to hear about your Mom. Betty Jo was like a second Mom to me (and others) during our crazy years. I spent more time at your house than I did mine. I have never met anyone before or since that was any more kind than  your Mom. She would drop everything to help someone else.  I love you guys like Brothers and often reminisce fondly of our many escapades.  God was definitely looking over us back then. I know you will miss her, but she is now reunited with her beloved Warren   and I know we will all see her again one day.  May God comfort you all  and grant you that perfect peace that he promises .

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.  Betty was such a kind and thoughtful person and always tried to help her family and friends and those in need. She will be missed by many. 



My sympathy and prayers are extended to the Robertson family, Baxter, Benton and  Bryce and extended families.  I met and worked with Betty and her late husband, Warren, at the DuPont Plant.  Through the years we attended a lot of the DuPont and Golden Club events together and she was always the life of the party.  Betty was loved and friends to all that knew her.  In recent years she and Warren lived very close to me.  Betty will be missed by many. She mentioned a wonderful pineapple upside down cake that she made for my dad, Gerard Draper. I always admired Betty’s wide smile and her friendly disposition.
