

Cecil Camden Hall, 87, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County. He was born in Patrick County on May 17, 1928 to Henry and Eunice Hall. Cecil served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict with the 194th Combat Engineering Infantry and received the Bronze Star. He was retired from E. I. DuPont with thirty-eight years of service and was a charter member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iris H. Hall; his sisters, Lucy Fain and Annie Turner and his brothers, Frank and Coy Hall.
He is survived by his son, Alan Hall of Martinsville; his daughter-in-law, Pam Hall, two grandchildren, Jessica Hall Phillips and husband, Casey and Daniel Hall and wife, Ashley and three great-grandchildren, Camden Phillips, Aubriella Hall and Hudson Hall.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Ramsey and Pastor Derek Futrell officiating. With Military Honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard of Martinsville & Henry County at the church. Interment will be held at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church.
