Charleen Elizabeth Trent

Charleen Elizabeth Trent, 74, of Spencer, Virginia, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home. She was born in Danville, Virginia on January 16, 1941 to George Irvin Harville and Estelle Elizabeth Dudley Harville Payne. Elizabeth was retired from Suntrust Bank as a Bank Teller for 36 years and was a member of Mayo Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Harville.

Surviving are her husband, William Basil Trent, Jr. of the home; her daughter, Ann Harris and husband, Mark of Spencer; her son, William Basil Trent and wife, Stephanie of Spencer; her brothers, Jerry Harville and wife, Frances of Martinsville and David Harville and wife, Lisa of Fieldale; four grandchildren, Deanna Miller and husband, Chris of Critz, William Cole Trent, Cody Warren Trent and Kristin Harris all of Spencer and two great-grandchildren, Miranda Elizabeth and Trenton Blake Miller.

The funeral service will be held, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Mayo Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Bates, Pastor Frances Martin and Pastor Curt Ashley officiating. Interment will follow at Mayo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
