Dorothy Earles Campbell

Dorothy Earles Campbell, 81, of Ridgeway, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Martinsville, March 28, 1932 to H. Clay Earles and Mildred Warren Earles. Dorothy was a graduate of Martinsville High School and Perry Business School. She was Treasurer of Martinsville Speedway for over 50 years and was a member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett William Campbell and a sister Mary Earles Weatherford.

She is survived by a daughter Sarah Campbell Fain and husband, William of Ridgeway; a son, W. Clay Campbell of Martinsville, four grandchildren, William Campbell Fain, Mary Dorothy Emmett Fain, William Clay Campbell, II and Alayna Jane Campbell; two brothers-in law, Pete Weatherford of Martinsville and Richard S. Campbell and wife, Sue of Schertz, Texas.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. David Adkins officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Abbey.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
