Ellen Ann Pratt

Ellen Ann was a longtime member of Broad Street Christian Church and retired from DuPont after 10 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands; Philip G. Davis, Sr., and Harold B. Peterson; and two sisters Martha S. Koger and Sara S. Hardesty.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Irvin Pratt of the home; two sons, Philip G. Davis, II and his wife Lisa Davis of Flower Mound, TX, and Timothy Stone Davis and his wife Tara Durham Davis of Martinsville, VA; stepdaughter, Elizabeth G. Peterson of Alexandria, VA; four stepsons, Kirk Peterson of Toledo, Ohio, Donald Irvin Pratt, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA, Ed Via Pratt of Texas, and Michael Pratt of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren, Evan Stone Davis of Greensboro, NC, Ashton Timothy Davis of Alexandria, VA, Michael Philip Davis of High Point, NC, Christopher Neale Davis of Greenville, NC, Graham Becker Davis of Cornelius, NC , Justin Carter Davis of Los Angeles, CA; and brother- in- law, Rev. Frank R. Koger of Waynesboro, VA.; seven step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Broad Street Christian Church, Martinsville with Pastor Mark B. Parkinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
