

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin (Benny) Smith and Robert Edward Smith; and two grandchildren, Crystal Ann Johnson and Jason Scott Panzino.
Juanita is survived by her four children, Sam Adkin, Jr., Virginia May Daniel and her husband Michael George Daniel, Patricia Ann Simpson and Robert Earl Smith and his wife Jessica Dawn Hayzlett Smith; 18 grandchildren, John Joseph Panzino, Jr., Lisa Franklin, Harley Davis, Jessica Nibblett, Jessie Adkins, Destiny Marie Daniel, Joseph Wayne Daniel, Joshua Earl Moore, Autumn Leigh Hipkins, Leslie Ann Smith, Disney Marie Whitt, Jayden Johnson, Maleah McBride, Alexis Johnson, Payton Johnson, Dustin Hayzlett (DJ), Daenerys Smith and Rhaenys Smith; 11 great grandchildren, Brandy Ditto, Kaleigh Ditto, Jason Riley Panzino, Brandon “Jr” Ditto, Aniya Lovelace, Axston Adkins, Hunter Dawson, Daniel Jay Crews (Djay) Harmony Franklin, Karter Franklin, and Dakota Barbour.
She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Marrow and Betty Jane Medley, a life-long friend, James Oral Daniel, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Juanita was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to watch NASCAR, football and wrestling. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; she always put a smile on people’s faces and she was always willing to help anyone she could. She was such a gentle soul and she will be missed by all that loved and knew her.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at McKee-Stone Funeral Home.
