The work ethic of a mule, Mark worked the majority of his life as a Class A Contractor for Cox Enterprises, Inc. A business and reputation inherited by his father. His hard work resulted in providing his wife and kids with a life that any man would be proud of. A home with memories of riding four wheelers, fishing in the pond he dug at the cabin he built, working on cars and equipment in his shop, home cooked meals by "mama", and a hard to count number of birthday pool parties. All of which quickly turned into the same experiences Papa Mark passed to his grandkids.
Mark grew up the youngest of four boys and one girl. The surprise his parents and siblings never saw coming. With a touch of wild and the privilege of being the youngest, Mark discovered his love for fast cars, mischief, and even quicker apologies. In high school you could find Mark working multiple jobs hustling to buy whatever Mustang or muscle car he could get his hands on. Not much changed over the years as he collected car after car, part after part, and DMV after DMV trip Cindy took in his haste. This love brought on Mark's fearless racing career of late model stocks.
One of the toughest men you could ever meet, Mark worked hard and played even harder. He was strong in his faith and followed a set of morals and ethics taught to him, his siblings, and cousins in a Sunday School class at Fontaine Baptist Church. It was important to him to instill these same beliefs in his children and grandchildren.
