Maude Scott Moran Harris, 96, of Martinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville. She was born in Patrick County, April 21, 1917 to Charlie Lewis Scott and Ollie Mae Hall Scott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles I. Harris; an infant daughter; one son, William Maxwell Moran; four brothers, Thomas, James, Rufus and Roy Scott; two grandchildren, Daniel Lee Moran and Pamela Moran Hazelwood.
She is survived by a son, James Albert Moran and wife, Shirley of Martinsville; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 12:00 Noon at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Kelly Ratcliff will officiate at the services. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
