She was preceded in death by her parents, Merritt Owen Galloway and Grace Dora Kerley Galloway; two sisters, Mildred Galloway and Josephine Galloway Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Aleen Williams Wilson, a grandson and granddaughter and five great-grandsons.
Mrs. Williams lived in Waynesville and Arden, NC prior to joining her daughter in Martinsville. While in Waynesville, she led Girl Scout troops and received commendations for her work with them.
Later in Arden, she was active in Arden Presbyterian Church and served as treasurer of the Grange for a number of years.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church in Martinsville. The family will receive friends following the service at the Parrish House.
A graveside will be held in Waynesville at a date to be announced.
