Patricia Lang Dameron

Pat loved her church, Starling Avenue Baptist Church, and was a member of the choir, care group, and of the Marcella Minter Sunday School Class. She was a Grace Network volunteer.

She worked as a secretary for her husband’s business and for a few years as secretary at the local Virginia State Police Office. Pat loved tennis, fishing, reading, traveling and was especially devoted to her three grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Dameron of the home, her sons, Kenneth Dameron of Martinsville, VA and Douglas Dameron and wife Christy of Wilmington, NC, her daughter, Julie Dameron of Roanoke, VA , her sisters, Peggy Jennings, Janet Brooks and Pamela Catlin and her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Avery and Alistair. Pat will be greatly missed by all of us.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad Street, Martinsville, VA

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Starling Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Susan Spangenberg officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
