I am a former employee of Ralph Hollander at Rann Industries. I met Peggy a few years after being employed there.   I also worked for many years helping with the wonderful gatherings held in her home and at the Philpott Lake house until I married and moved to North Carolina. I always admired Peggy for being the perfect hostess.   Ralph was also a kind, perfect gentleman and God sent.  I watched the children grow to be adults and I loved them all.  My prayers are for the children and grand children to continue to be strong.

Peg is beyond doubt one of the best people I have ever known . There are very few people that I have admired and respected as much as Peg. In the travels through her life, she had some hard times, and some very hard times. Then one day she met Prince Charming, who swept her off her feet and took her to a new location, full of happiness , joy, and LOVE!! Of course, you know  I’m talking about Ralph and his transformation of her life. She loved him beyond description, and he loved her as much or more! It remains one of my life’s best memories, seeing the two of them with each  other. A   Real life love story for the ages!


I enjoyed many years of planning fun travel adventures for Peggy and Ralph, and in later years, for Peggy and her friend, Josephine.   Peggy delighted in pouring over brochures and being sure every detail was just right.  She also had the ability to pack on short notice to support friends and family wherever she needed to be.  I used to joke with her that she had Martinsville Travel on speed dial whenever the travel bug bit her.  I will look back fondly at our friendship and the good times we had working together.  I offer my deepest condolences to your family during these difficult days.
