Prudence Ann Robinson

Prudence Ann (Garber) Robinson, age 81, passed away on November 09, 2022, at her home with her daughters at her bedside. She was born January 14, 1941, in Goshen to Ralph J. and Blanche Viola (Luke) Garber.

On June 04, 1961, Prudence married Charles Chester Robinson at the Methodist Church in New Paris, IN. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2015, after 53 years of marriage.

She helped found, along with her husband, the He’s Alive Church in Kannapolis, NC where she was a member at the time of her passing. She enjoyed many years of volunteering there.

Prudence retired after working more than 20 years at Wal-Marts in the Charlotte, NC area.

Surviving are her two daughters, Cheri Robinson of Fieldale, VA, and Tammy Robinson of Concord, NC. Also surviving are two grandsons, James P. Haley of Winston-Salem, NC, and John T. Haley of Martinsville, VA. Additionally, four brothers survive, R. David (Carol) Garber, Millersburg, IN, Michael R. (Pamala) Garber of Goshen, IN, James R. (Peggy) Garber of New Paris, IN, and Peter L. (Deb) Garber of Syracuse, IN.

Prudence was preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband.

A memorial service conducted by Rev. John Curran will take place at 2:30 pm on November 20, 2022 at the He’s Alive Church, 1310 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
