Robert Eanes

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lester Eanes, Vincent Eanes , Willard “Bill” Eanes; sisters, Bessie Pulliam, Geneva Knight, Lois Cobbler, Jettie Walker, Eunice Warren, Velma Campbell.

He is survived by his sister, Georgie E. Kidd; brother, Irvin B. Eanes and his wife Geneva of Martinsville; sister-in-law Naomi Eanes of Ridgeway; many nieces and nephews, and a true friend, Terry Coe.

Mr. Eanes was a World War II Army Veteran who served with the 351st Infantry in North Africa and Italy. Following his military service he worked as a farmer and mechanic all of his life.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Roselawn Burial Park with Reverend Jim Wilson officiating. Full military honors will be presented by the Martinsville Henry County Veteran’s Honor Guard.
