Rodger Scott

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Alvin Scott; sister, Joyce Pulliam and stepson, Christopher Minter.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Scott; children, Phillip Scott, Stephanie Henderson (Eddie) and Jonathan Scott; stepchildren, Mark Minter (Deborah) and Kathy Smith; sister, Shelby Pace.

Rodger retired from the Army National Guard. He had over 30 years of combined service with the Army and National Guard.

He was a member of Ridgeway, Methodist Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home Chapel with military honors. Reverend Michael Lewis will officiate. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AMVETS OF Martinsville and Henry County, 2147 Virginia Avenue, Collinsville, Va. 24078.
