So sad to hear of my friend's passing.  I may have been his first real friend. 

Steve was such  good man. He had a heart of gold. Tough on the outside but nothing but kind on the inside!!  I will miss our conversations and the times we spent together forever!!   Watch over us my friend. You are loved and will truly be missed! 

I worked with Steve at Micks Bar-B-Q, it was our first jobs. RIP Steve.

I went to school with Steve and was sad to read of his passing. I remember him as very quiet, shy and his curly hair.   My  sympathies to his family!

i really don't know what to say other than i will miss my Dad more than anything because in so many ways i wanted to be like him and have the respect from  other people,grown men especially respected big Steve because of his strong personality and even bigger heart and i wish i was a tenth the man he was!!

I am so sad to hear about Steve.  He was my very first friend.  He, Penny, and Cecil, were like my brothers and sister, and I spent many happy days playing with them.  The first 9 years of my life were spent as their next door neighbor, and I have such fond memories of  those days.  I will never forget you all.
