Thomas Fred Saunders

Thomas “Tommy” Fred Saunders, 67, of Martinsville passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Tommy was born in Martinsville on November 20, 1950 to Walter and Lelia Mills Saunders. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Ann Tolliver and a brother, Edward Saunders. He is survived by his wife, Ann Saunders; son, Anthony “Tony” Saunders; brother, Charles “Buddy” Saunders and his wife Judy; also numerous nieces and nephews. Tommy worked at Hanes Brands. He loved bowling, NASCAR and coaching ladies softball. The visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at McKee Stone Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 with Reverend Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
