Alice M. Conroy (Phillips), 78, of Dansville, Michigan went to be with the Lord December 26, 2013. She passed peacefully with her family at her side.

Alice was born on October 10, 1935 to the late Harold and America “Merk” (Thompson) Phillips in Mason, Michigan and graduated from Mason in 1955. She married Ralph Conroy on March 25, 1961. Alice worked as a nursing aid at Ingham County Medical Facility. She loved camping and traveling. Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, and gardening. Most of all, she loved visiting with family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Ralph Conroy; her parents; and brothers, Harold “Bill” Phillips and James Phillips. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Mark Conroy, Zela (Larry) Jones, Philip Conroy, and Dale (Karen) Conroy; grandchildren, Gordon Ralph Conroy and Amanda Kay Conroy; and her nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel located at 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan 48854. The family will receive friends Monday, December 30, 2013 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Ball Dunn Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, P.O. Box 30480, Lansing, Michigan 48909.
