Carol Marie Hatch

Carol Marie Hatch, 68, of Mason, Michigan, passed away peacefully in the hospital, surrounded by her family on March 18, 2026,. Born on August 17, 1957, in Lansing, Carol spent her life surrounded by the people and places she loved most.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband, Gale Hatch; her cherished daughters Ashley Hatch, Christina Hatch, and Marie Stimer; and her beloved sons Terry Jordan (Katie), and Jake Hatch (Kristen). She was a proud grandmother to Annastasia Hatch, Katie Hatch, Colton, Michelle, Sandy, and Stephanie. Carol also leaves behind her loving mother Violet Burns; her dear sisters Judy and Annette; and her mother-in-law Shirley Hatch. Her family extended beyond humans to include her adored grandpups Truffles, Charlie, Dixon, Alissa, and Penelope.

She was predeceased by her father Vernon and her sisters Tammy and Barbara. Though they are no longer with us, their memories remained close to Carol’s heart throughout her life.

Carol was known for her fun-loving spirit and eccentric personality. She brought joy to those around her with her kindness and humor. A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, his music often filled the air wherever Carol was present. Her love for family was evident in everything she did—whether it was spending time with loved ones or doting on the family dog Truffles.

Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May Carol’s memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

A visitation and service will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 South Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854, US, on March 23, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
