Elaine Faye Hamlin

Greenville, formerly of Mason, MI

Age 87, died August 8, 2013; born March 3, 1926 to Hubert and Vera (Cooke) Roy in Lansing, Michigan. Elaine was employed by the Ingham County Treasurers Office for over 24 years. She enjoyed her family, loved camping and traveling. She married John Hamlin on November 30, 1946. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mason. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John and brother Darrell Roy. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Jack) Archambault, Terri (Terry) Collins; 3 grandchildren, John (Christa) Collins, Joe (Maryann) Collins, Jeff (Brenda) Archambault; great grandchildren Hannah Collins, Erica Collins, Allyson Collins, Ryan Collins, Matthew and Amanda Archambault; and sister, Margaret Roy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Mason, 201 E. Ash St., Mason, MI with the Rev. Dwayne Bagley officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 15, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in Elaine’s memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mason.
