Elizabeth was born on September 1, 1919 in Dansville, Michigan to John and Anna Thomas. On her birthday, she married Burr Monroe Potter, a farmer. They were together for 45 years until his passing in 1984. Elizabeth and Burr raised one daughter, Marilyn Potter.
Elizabeth and her husband loved to dance! Over the years she was employed in occupations such as telephone operator, fur specialist, teacher's assistant/tutor, a JC Penney associate, and a nursing home assistant, but her favorite job was working as a nurses aide at a hospital. Elizabeth also taught 4-H as a gardening specialist. She traveled and cruised the world.
Elizabeth was loved by her family and friends, it can be said of her that she had a wonderful life!
Elizabeth will be interred next to her husband, Burr at a private ceremony at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mason, MI.
