Age 84, died February 12, 2015; born May 17, 1930 to George and Theresa (Cline) Morris. George fought bravely and survived the “Battle of Chosin Reservoir” during the Korean War. He was an avid outdoorsman and proud American hero. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Morris; brothers, Raymond Morris, Clare Wing; sister, Joyce Curtin. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Shirley, a loving wife of 56 years; daughters, Renee (Wayne) Schuette, Julie (Doug) Snoeyink; son, Thomas Morris; 4 grandchildren, David, George, Tammy, Brandy; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Daniel (Lois) Morris, Terry (Pat) Wing, and Roger (Theresa) Wing.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan with interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at visitation on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
