Hilda "Peggy" Straub Kranz O'Berry died December 19, 2018, born August 15, 1929 in Leslie, Michigan. Peggy was a 1947 graduate of Holt High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and loyal friend. She enjoyed square dancing, line dancing, playing cards, traveling, quilting, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Peggy was preceded in death by the love of her life Donald Kranz; parents, Loya and Mae Straub; son-in-law, Arthur Johnston.
Surviving are her husband, Jack; three children, Eleanor Johnston, Barbara (Skip) Zuidema, Larry (Jody) Kranz; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Mason Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854. A rosary service we be held from 9-9:30 a.m. followed by visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
