Grief can be so hard, but nothing can take our special memories from us. From a parent that has also lost a son way too soon, I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you in the coming weeks months and years. My deepest sympathy to Jon's family.  I had the pleasure of worked with Jon at Tenneco and had great respect for him.  He was a man with many talents and a heart of gold.

I had the privilege of working with Jon at Tenneco. His frequent travel arrangements could be daunting. He would call to get advice or assistance on foreign charges or expense reporting. He was such a kind and sweet man and it was a joy working with him.to his parents, as a Mom who also lost a son tragically please know you will be in my daily prayers requesting comfort and peace for you.

I had the good fortune of working with Jonathan over the past several years and always held him in highest esteem.  In addition to being excellent in his chosen field of quality, Jon carried with him a passion for always doing the right thing and insisting that all those around him do the same.  He was the kind of person whose deeply held sense of right and wrong inspired those around him to want to be better people, better coworkers, better team members.  I consider it an honor to have known Jon and will miss him terribly.  All my prayers for his friends and family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jonathon In Peoria and Seward. He was a gentle soul, easy friend to everyone and had such a wonderful sense of humor.

I worked with Jon when he was down in Mexico some years ago, sharing experiences and thoughts about life, excellent person, I was shocked to received the sad news, specially because I ride motorcycle too, my deepest sympathy to all his family, DESCANSE EN PAZ!!

I had a crush on Jon in 5th grade. What a cutie! He rode my bus for his art lesson every week.  Then we had lockers next to each other in High School and he made me laugh all the time.  He always made me smile!  I was blessed to see him at our most recent reunion - what a really cool guy!!  I'm so touched by his loss and am praying for you all.  May Yahweh reveal himself to you in new ways during this time.  Tears...

I always called Jon "Sir JDS".  He is truly a Sir.  His thoughtful, inspiring words were eloquently unique and no one else could ping pong "social media" conversation as well as he could.  His passions are admired, as he will be the most talented person I will have known.  I cannot thank him enough for his loyalty, standing up for me, and the gleeful fits of laughter.  Sir JDS, you are loved and forever missed.

Jon was a gifted person and his talents will be missed. I am sincerely sorry for you lose.

I met Jon via work but we had good times while working on the bad.  The world was a better place with Jon in it.  I'm saddened to hear of his passing.

As a Tenneco colleague, I first came across Jonathon as the voice on the other end of the line while he was at a supplier in China. He provided order to the chaos. To Jonathon's family and close friends, there are no words that can take away the pain and sense of loss, only the faith that anyone who came across him is better for it and he was called too soon to a better place. He was well thought of and we weep for the loss of such a positive force in the world.

I knew Jon from Lear. He was the one guy who could always make me snicker. Finding out later that my husband knew him as a little boy just made it cooler. Now the two of them can hang out and swap stories. God speed Jon.

Jonathon was one of those rare characters that lived life to the fullest in a positive manner.  Whether work or social it was always a treasure to converse with him. I worked with Jon here at Tenneco.  He was always happy to help in any way he could.  He was always able to add a smile to the room. It was very sad to hear of his passing.

My first remembrances of  John was in a "johnny jumper" or that is what we called it...he was a baby and living on Thurlby Road in Mason Michigan, I was thirteen years older so I watched him grow until I moved away.  When I came back home one summer John has grown into a gorgeous man.  I did not know him on a day to day basis, but with the creation of Facebook I was able to read his most poetic posts about life and love. Not only a handsome, smart  man but he had a great Soul...
