Kristin Renee Shutes

Kristin Renee (Consiglio) Shutes, 55, of Dansville, Michigan died on April 23, 2026. Born on March 21, 1971 in Warren, Michigan, Kristin was an endlessly caring wife, and a devoted mother to her children that she did everything in her power to bring happiness to. She also had a lifelong passion for animals. She cared for them both in her career, and at home on her farm. Kristin raised many animals over the course of her life. Alongside animals, Kristin also cared for her garden that had many beautiful flowers and plants, her favorite was always the sunflowers. She was the manager for Countryside Animal Clinic in Mason for ten years alongside her dear friends Dr. Cheryl DeSilva and Heather Carr.

She was preceded in death by her loving and adored grandparents, Jack and Madeline Frederick.

Surviving are her husband, Matt; children Aiden, Addison, Matthew (Kamaria), and Christopher; granddaughters Jade and Cleo; mother, Lynda Consiglio; sister, Michelle Ryder (Norm); Aunt, Chris Zenker; Uncle, Jerry Frederick (Michiko); Cousins John Frederick (Amanda), Melissa Town, Alex Frederick (Mizuki), and Karen Jones. She is also survived by several other extended family members and friends that she loved very much.
