Linda was born on May 9, 1945 in Hazard, Kentucky, the only child of the late Albert and Mabel Howard. The family moved to Michigan when Linda was a child and she graduated from Mason High School in 1963. In 1997, Linda retired from the State of Michigan after 30 years of service.
Linda was an active member of St. James Catholic Church in Mason and was a member of the Knights Angels. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Hawaii. Linda also enjoyed shopping with her daughter, especially their yearly trip to Chicago.
Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gerald, her daughter, Sandra Baldwin (Brian Stehle) of Mason, her son, Christopher (Tammy) of Bath and her grandson, Brandon of Mason. Also surviving are: sister-in-law, Judith Perry of Spring Lake, sister-in-law, Janet Hartley of Grand Ledge, brother-in-law, Dennis (Carol) Baldwin of Lansing, sister-in-law, Kathy Crawford of Laingsburg, brother-in-law, Kenneth (Maria) Baldwin of Lansing, and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Mason Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church in Mason.
