Linda Lee Shattuck

Mason, Michigan

Age 52, born November 12, 1961 to Stuart and Barbara Meissner, Jr., born into eternal life November 21, 2013. Linda graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1980 and Olivet Nazarene University in 1984 with honors. Linda was a board member of Mason First Church of the Nazarene; supervisor of Children’s Ministry; choir member; and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Church for her contributions as a Sunday school and Bible School teacher. She had been a faithful employee at Lansing Endodontic Specialists PC for 30 years. Her loves included her family and Church and she will be greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, L. Scott Shattuck, her college sweetheart of 29 years; daughter, Cassandra (Jared) Short; sons, Loren Stuart and Spencer Scott; her parents, Stuart and Barbara Meissner, Jr.; sisters, Pamela (Mark) Eichler, Beth (Mike) Repka; inlaws, Loren and Jackie Shattuck; brother and sister-in-law Jeff (Denise) Shattuck, Deborah (Phil) Kline; nieces and nephews, Katie Repka, Emma Repka, Rachel Repka, J. Hillary Kline, Chauncey Shattuck, Alex (Erin) Shattuck; and 4 great nieces and nephew. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at the Mason First Church of the Nazarene, 415 E. Maple Street, Mason, Michigan with Rev. Gerhard Weigelt officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the Children’s College Fund, in care of Dart Bank, 368 Park St., Mason, MI 48854.
