Marguerite Isabelle Steel

Marge moved to America in 1964 with her husband, Pete and their three sons. They bought a home in Mason, Michigan, and continued to live there throughout their years.

Marge is preceded in death by her husband, Pete and brother, Robert (Shirley), and is survived by her three sons, Walter (Helen), Michael (Brenda), and Peter. Grandchildren Jacob, Caleb, Leah, Kylie Brownlee (Jeromy), Ryan and Tyler. Great Grandchildren Farrah, Kane, Elijah, and brother Jerry (Margaret), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Marge had her hands full raising her son Walter and twin sons Michael and Peter, and she loved every minute of it. Her grand and great grandchildren brought her much joy later in life, she cherished them all.

Working for several years for the County of Ingham, she enjoyed her free time with Pete, playing cards, bowling, and traveling with her many girlfriends. Spending many summers at their place on Jehnsen Lake, hosting family and friends rated high on her list of favorite things.

You never saw Marge without a smile on her face. She was loving, nurturing, and always there for anyone that needed her helping hands.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th at 11:00 am at All Saints Lutheran Church, 720 W. South Street, Mason, MI 48854.
