She is survived by her husband, Leon; daughters, Lucille (Bob) Kessler of Holt, MI and Sarah (Tom) Woodcock of Rose City, MI; step-daughters, Charlene (Richard) Harris of Champaign, Ill and Deborah Hensley of Portland, MI; sons, Chester Farrier, Jr. of Springport, MI and George (Ruby) Farrier of Mason, MI; step-sons, Tom (Chris) Rice of Onondaga, MI and Richard (Cathy) Rice of Leslie, MI; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Joyce) Young, Edward (Roberta) Young and Robert Young; sister, Barbara (Howard) Kieffer; sister-in-laws, Hazel (Ken) Marsh of Stockbridge, Betty Rice of Mason, Nancy Sherman of St. Augustine, FL, Carla Young of St. Augustine, FL and Patty (John) Johnson of Springport, MI; brother-in-laws, Leo Rice of Onondaga, Bud Rice of Leslie, Ronald Farrier of St. Augustine, FL and Henry Farrier of Drummond Island, MI Mary was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Chester Farrier; brothers, Paul, Floyd, Melvin, Elmer and George. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 2:00 pm, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
