Millie was born on March 4, 1919 in Ithaca, MI, the daughter of Manuel Amos and Ethel Marie (Davis) Chapin. She attended Riverdale High School. Being the second eldest of seven children, Millie was a natural caregiver and loving soul. This showed when she had children of her own and when they grew up and had children. She loved her family with every piece of her heart.
Millie (Arvell) worked for Wyeth Labs for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Sweet Adeline's for many many years. In Millie's free time, she loved playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, playing the organ, knitting and her church family. She had a variety of hobbies to keep her busy throughout her 104 years on this Earth.
For the last 10 years of her life, Millie enjoyed living at Stratford Place and the many friends she made there.
