Robert was a proud business owner, working in the family asphalt business for the majority of his life. He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and antique tractors and Caterpillars. He had a love for animals and spending time with his friends and family.
Robert is survived by his son, Josh Stinson; mother, Patricia Stinson (Jones); sister, Candy (Bill) Sherwood; nephew, Nathan Sherwood; and niece Erin Sherwood. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Stinson and his grandparents, Kathryn and Guy Stinson and Cortelle and Harry Jones.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 South Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM at Mason Community Church, 1000 E Columbia St., Mason, MI 48854. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest in Hawley Cemetery, 940 W Dexter Trail in Mason, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert's memory may be made to Michigan Steam Engine and Threshers Club, 2929 Rolfe Rd., Mason, MI 48854.
