Timothy Joseph Caggegi, age 80, of Mason, Michigan passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1945 in Saginaw, MI to Dorothy and Joseph Caggegi. He graduated from Saginaw High in 1963 and received his Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University in 1968.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Suzanne; three children Timothy Jr., Theresa (Edward) O'Connell, and Tamra (Joseph) Vilchek; three grandchildren Chemi, Joshua, and Allana; two sisters, Arlene (Gary) Patelski and Dorothy (Roger) McFeeters; two brothers, Fred (Carol) Muzer and Frank (Sharon) Muzer; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sister, Judy Sill, and two nephews, Brian Patelski and Aaron Niemi.
He was employed by Hastings Mutual as an insured adjuster for 22 years and also worked for Meridian Mutual and Century Insurance.
He was a fantastic husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing cards. He also enjoyed traveling and watching grandchildrens' sporting activities. He volunteered for many organizations including Boys and Girl Scouts of America, Indian Guides, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and 4-H.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
