Dear Teita  Abla, you will always be in our hearts. We will miss your sweet smile, your singing and your stories. We shared great memories with you. Your absence will be felt with all young and old.

I have so many fond memories of Auntie Abla during my visits to Cleveland years ago. I will always remember her as a warm, wise, and loving lady. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.  
May she rest in eternal peace and may you find comfort in your joyous memories of her.

I first met Auntie Abla when she became our neighbour in Amman in 1966 and have been friends with her daughter, Mona, ever since. Yacoub and I will always remember her as a kind, classy and lovely lady. May she rest in peace, and may God grant Samir, Suhayl, Siham and Mona and the rest of her family comfort at this difficult time.

I had the privilege of knowing Aunti Abla in the past few years, I loved visiting her , playing cards , singing old hymns and hearing stories about her life as a child growing up in Palestine , also she spoke with great pride about her late father Ebrahim who was a missionary  . her family was her pride and joy , her face lit up when she talked about the grandchildren and great grandchildren , may she rest in peace and may you find comfort in her memories .The lord has given , The lord has taken , let us praise the name of the lord

Auntie Abla was a second mother to me. She and Umo Shehadeh ensured we had wonderful times together, especially when we spent summers together in Damascus. Wise, gentle, loving - always a voice of reason and common sense - she is an example to us all. May her soul rest in peace.

She made me feel immediately welcome in the family. She was someone I felt I could go to for help and advice, freely given. Wise, kind and generous, nothing was too much trouble for her. She really was ahead of her time, and her children serve as living testament to her. God Bless you all and keep you safe.

Abla was a dearly loved sister-in-law, a second sister, and a dear person to me. She was also a loving, wise and dedicated mother to her beloved children. I will always remember our warm friendship when she lived close to us - on two occasions in her life. May our Lord give her peace and rest in His heavenly abode.      Samia Hissen Doany

Dearest Teta. There are so many nice memories that I intend to hold on to, you have been an ever present figure in our lives throughout and I am thankful for all the years we got to spend with you. You had such a grace about you and touched all those who you met with your charm, story telling, singing, humour and warmth. I love you and miss you so much.
